Fashion That Kills: AHS Hotel

I like to think I'm a pretty good scary movie and TV viewer. I don't need to look away from gory violence or hide my eyes from gruesome details. But even I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the screen for the first couple of American Horror Story: Hotel episodes that have aired.

What's not so hard to look at, though, is the costumes. I had high expectations for the fashion with a season starring Lady Gaga, but I've been blown away by the constant detail to the elaborate outfits.

The flashbacks allow the costumes to range in extravagance as the show flips from decade to decade. There's everything from the classy 1900s to the grungy 90s to the timeless high fashion works of art worn by Gaga. The intricate detail on Gaga's crystal glove is as beautiful as it is frightening.

I'm excited to keep watching to unveil the strange mystery that's been started, and I'll have to keep my eyes open through the gore to see all that style.
