80s Fashion: Saved by the Bell

Disclaimer: I watched a lot of TV growing up. A lot of really old TV shows on repeats. I remember setting my TV to the right channel so that as soon as I came home from school I would run up and turn it on to catch the beginning of that day's episode of Saved by the Bell. This was back in 2008 when I didn't have to privilege of Netflix and missing an episode through me way off. 

Saved by the Bell was probably the first thing I was ever exposed to that opened the door for a whole array of retro fashion to my middle school mind. I was in awe of the bright colors, the big hair, and, or course, Mario Lopez's dimples. 

Flash forward to 2015 and I'm still equally as obsessed with the outfits on Saved by the Bell as my eighth grade self was. What's not to love about Kelly Kapowski's cheerleader uniform? Or literally anything that Lisa wore. I'd even go so far as to say that the awkward shirts Screech wore were fashionable.
