Freaky Fashion

I'll admit, I never went through a really rebellious angsty teen phase in high school. But I did live vicariously through the angsty teenage lives I watched as I went through my couch potato phase (a phase I'm still in and hope to never grow out of if I'm being completely honest). While there are many angsty TV teens to discuss, the one I admire most has to be Lindsay Weir.

There were many lessons to learn from Freaks and Geeks. From balancing different social circles, to sneaking out of your house for the fist time. But realistically the only lesson I actually transferred into my boring life was how to dress like Lindsay Weir.

Lindsay's go-to outfit is a timeless look. She's a character going to high school in 1980, on a show that aired in 2000, wearing an outfit that could easily be spotted around campus in 2015. To recreate Lindsay's badass look, you first have to find an oversized, army green jacket. Pair your jacket with awkward sweaters and a chronic grumpy face and you're good to go.

Bonus points if you find a young James Franco look-a-like to follow around.
