As the super catchy The Nanny theme song tells us, "she had style, she had class, she was there," and that's how she became the nanny.

I saw an article on Refinery29 about how Fran Fine's outfits on The Nanny are pretty similar to a lot of trends today. When I think about how the '90s are making a comeback I always focus on the grungy looks, but a lot of Fran's over-the-top outfits are present in a today's trends.

Even though she was border line tacky (or maybe not so border line) with most of her outfits, the basic trends translate well to today. Fran's high wasted skirts with  matching crop tops can be seen today with a lot of stores selling sets of matching two piece separates.

Fran's beauty look also isn't far off from the Kylie Jenner-esque makeup trend. Long before Kylie

was snapping selfies for Instagram, Fran was over lining her lips with dark reds and accentuating her eyes with perfect winged liner. 

And, of course, that iconic laugh could never go out of style.
